- Usually, the minimum age criteria for undergoing the psychometric tests is around 14 years as the child should be matured enough to understand and comprehend the test itself. Therefore, these tests cannot be undertaken by younger children, and parents lose valuable time which otherwise, they could have taken some action by then. DMIT test can be conducted at any age over 3 years.
- While doing the tests, the time-frame, the individual’s maturity, getting into the right mood, interest levels, and environment can have a big impact on the IQ test results, whereas, DMIT only requires finger-print scanning, and hence do not have impact of these factors.
- IQ Tests cover Language, Maths and Logic as a base to find the IQ level. It completely overlooks talents in areas like sports, music, art forms, communication etc.
- Since most IQ tests are in English language, hence individuals from vernacular background may find it difficult to understand or not be able to attempt properly.
- DMIT covers a 360 degree evolution of an individual whereas there is no single IQ test which can draw similar conclusions.
